Our Nurses are certified and qualified to perform the following services:

• Medicare Set Asides: AMCM utilizes specially certified nurses to prepare Medicare Set Asides that will withstand the scrutiny of the Social Security Administration and the WCAB while producing positive results for the employer and injured worker.  AMCM offers these services at extremely competitive rates. • Utilization Review: This program prospectively, concurrently and retrospectively authorizes medical treatment and services for injured workers to meet ACOEM guidelines and all according to legal and regulatory standards.  This allows the client and the administrator to oversee and control medical costs for the injured worker’s claim.
  
  
• Specialized Physician Review:  AMCM has a panel of Physician Specialists that are available for specialized review of claims with that require UR delays for investigation, modifications and/or denials of medical treatment or service requests.  A panel of experienced and specialized physician reviewers is the hallmark of this program.  AMCM has a specialist reviewer for any type of medical treatment request, including acupuncture and psychiatric specialists.  This provides UR decisions that will withstand legal challenges and can even be used to challenge the generalized reports that are completed in the AME/QME process.
  
  
• Complex Medical File Review: AMCM will work with your claims staff to resolve the most complex issues.  The art is to be innovative and “think outside the circle”. 
  
  
• Life Care Plan:  Our AMCM has experienced NCM who are highly qualified to develop a realistic Life Care Plan for the defense and will work closely with the Claims Administrator and the defense attorney in putting together a LCP for the purpose of a structure settlement, or for resolution of the case in chief.
